Recreational
Many of the lands owned by the Commissioners of the Land Office are used for recreational activities. Recreational use include activities such as fishing, camping, hiking or just enjoying nature. Land Office property is not open to public recreational use. If lands are used for recreational purposes, please be respectful of the lands to ensure they are preserved for our beneficiaries.
Excerpt from the agricultural lease contract referring to recreational use:
2.8 PERSONAL RECREATIONAL USE.
CLO and Lessee(s) agree(s) personal recreational use is permitted on the Property so long as there is no damage to or misuse of the Property. Whether there is damage to or misuse of the Property shall be determined by CLO, in its sole discretion.
